Rio Ferdinand believes Manchester City star Raheem Sterling is treated unfairly because he is black.
The former Manchester United defender claimed Sterling should be considered a candidate to scoop the Ballon d'Or, but his skin colour dictates he is not being talked about.
Sterling is thriving under Pep Guardiola and currently enjoying the finest season of his career with 20 goals in all competitions.
