Assassins, who murdered a 48-year-old man over a land dispute at Kasoa, have been accosted by the Ghana Police following an intense investigation conducted by the team.
On 24th March, 2013, the hired thugs who are now in the grips of the law, forced a 48-year-old-man by name Mr. Atta Antwi Ntim into his early grave following a land dispute between them.
Narrating the incident to Okay FM on 25th March, 2013, the wife of the deceased, Mrs. Rebecca Ntim reported that a gentleman by name Jeffery Hammond came with a group of people laying claims to their land before slaying her husband.
Ntim revealed that her husband was hauled to a nearby bush and was later found lying in a pool of blood with a broken neck when the police arrived.
Although the murderers took to their heels after the gory event, investigations by the police and some informants have managed to smoke them out from their hide outs.
Speaking to Okay FM on the latest development, an emotional Mrs. Ntim was thankful to Police Service for arresting the killers and praised them for acting swiftly when the unfortunate event happened.
She indicated that she was invited by the police to identify the criminals when they were arrested. She hinted that upon series of interrogation, the accosted criminals revealed that they were hired by somebody to execute the horrific murder.
Mrs. Ntim was however grateful to the police for providing her with maximum security ever since the incidence befell her family.
