The Kasoa district Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Ebenezer Kweku Asare has directed the general public to report all cases related to land disputes and threats from land guards to their outfit as they are combat ready to deal with hooligans who have caused a lot of damages to human life.
His call comes on the heels of swift response by the police when they conducted an intensive search and arrested land guards who murdered a 48-year-old-man over a land dispute at Kasoa.
He noted that they have received many complaints from the general public and were marshalling forces to curb the menace.
Speaking on Okay FM, Chief Superintendent Ebenezer Kweku Asare, hinted that the Kasoa Township had developed into a flashpoint and recorded series of land guard cases because people have taken the law into their hands and fighting legitimate owners.
He welcomed calls from the people to the police service about land disputes; spearheaded by land guards.
