The Ghana Police Service has restored calm at Maamobi, a suburb of Accra, following disturbances between supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the area that resulted in the injuries of nine persons.
Seven of the injured victims have been treated and discharged while two are still receiving treatment at the hospital.
Meanwhile, an intelligence-led operation is currently ongoing to get the perpetrators who have been identified by the Police arrested to face justice.
