Ghana is leading five West African countries to train heads of institutions in tertiary education.
The aim is to expose participants to global trends and innovations to change the face of Africa's educational system.
At the launch of the five day programme, a former Executive Director for the National Council for Tertiary Education, Dr Paul Effah said in order to compete effectively with foreign counterparts in education, it is paramount to close the skills gap which remains a setback to achieving quality and high education in the sub-region.
