Eleven out of the 1,350 students expected to participate in this year�s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the Nkoranza Municipality in the Brong-Ahafo Region failed to turn up.
They were made up of eight girls and three boys. Two of the girls were from Asonkwaa M/A Junior High School (JHS), five from Nkwabeng Jacob�s Ladder International JHS and the other from Makyinmabre T.I.Ahmaddiyya School.
The boys were from King of Kings International, Chechewere JHS and Donkro Nkwanta M/A JHS. Three pregnant girls wrote the examination.
A total of 325 students wrote the examination at Nkoranza Senior High School (SHS) centre �A�, 216 students at Nkoranza SHS centre �B� and 186 students at Nkoranza Technical Institute without any incident.
