The minister for Health, Madam Sherry Ayitey has announced efforts by government to expedite healthcare delivery in deprived communities by introducing a door to door health system.
Speaking on Peace FM�s Evening News, the Health minister stated that the eight medical mobile vans had been imported into the country to help serve patients across the country who have no access to quality health facilities.
According to her, the vans would transport medical doctors, x-ray
machines, opticians, dentists and machine to various communities in order to patients.
Mrs. Sherry Ayitey added that treat all type of sickness anytime the team moved to a region to deliver their service.
In addition to the mobile healthcare vans, mechanical engineers would always accompany the vans to ensure the vehicles are always in good shape.
