Members of the Kwahu Professionals Network (KPN) has donated assorted medicines worth fifty thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS 50,000.00) to four health facilities in the Kwahu area of Ghana.
The facilities include St. Joseph Clinic, Nkwatia Health Center in the Kwahu East district. Agyarkwa Hospital in the Kwahu West and Praso Clinic in the Kwahu South district of Ghana. Receiving the items, the head of the Praso health facility, Dr. Francis Kumi, thanked the members of the group and called on other groups with Kwahu at heart to emulate the gesture from KPN.
On his part, the President of KPN, Davis Opoku Ansah (OPK) called on the hospitals to administer the drugs at no cost to beneficiaries. He also urged residents to ensure a clean environment. He said, “We need to keep our villages, towns and cities clean and hygienic, both for this generation and generations to come.”
Kwahu Professionals Network is an association of professionals, hailing from the Kwahu area with the aim to help each other and contribute to developing the area.
