Ghana has confirmed two cases of COVID-19, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.
The cases which are the first in Ghana were reported on March 12, 2020.
The Ministry of Health disclosed in a statement on Thursday that the two confirmed cases were received at the same time from the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research.
The two individuals returned to Ghana from Norway and Turkey.
Meanwhile, both patients are currently under isolation and are stable.
