AT least 35 people are dead and 200 injured after two high-speed trains crashed into each other in eastern China yesterday.
The first train was traveling south from the regional capital of Hangzhou on Saturday evening when it lost power and stalled in a lightning strike, according to reports.
It was then hit from behind by the second bullet train in Wenzhou city.
The first four carriages of the moving train fell about 65 to 100 feet off a bridge onto the ground.One carriage ended up in a vertical position, leaning against the viaduct.
The Ministry of Railways said in a statement on Sunday that the last two carriages of the stalled train also derailed.

Last month, it launched a Beijing to Shanghai high-speed line, whose trains travel at a maximum speed of 186 miles per hour.
The speed was cut from the originally planned 217 mph after questions were raised about safety.
It's also faced criticism for its cost - 215bn yuan ( �21bn). In the past four weeks it has also been blighted by power outages and other problems.
