Sheik Abdul-Salam, the Regional Chief Imam, prayed for the peace of the nation as well as for the NPP flag bearer.

The NPP flag bearer used the opportunity to introduce Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to the electorate, as his running mate.Nana Akufo-Addo described his running mate as a worthy partner, who could contribute to the development of the country, taking into consideration his professional background.

Some leading members of the NPP in the entourage of Nana Akufo-Addo included Mr Boakye Agyarko, campaign manager, Mr Anthony Karbo, National Youth Organiser, Madam Jaba Afisa Otiko, National Women’s Organiser and Mr Owusu Afriyie, National Secretary.
