Victims who were displaced by last Friday’s tidal waves along the shores of Keta in the Volta Region received relief items from NADMO on Friday.
The Volta Regional NADMO Coordinator, Simon Miles Bakar, said NADMO will continue with the distribution of relief items till the last batch of affected victims is served.
About 350 residents of Keta, Whuti and its surrounding areas were displaced by tidal waves last week.
In an interview with Citi News, Mr. Bakar stated that “we’ve provided for almost all of them. The last group will be distributed Friday. We’ve been distributing relief items since last week”.
He added: “It’s not like we don’t have it. We have it there but sometimes you cannot be distributing food items when it’s raining.”
