The Electoral Commission (EC) will from today exhibit the voters register at all polling stations throughout the country to Monday, September 10, 2012.
Registered voters are expected to take advantage of the ten days exercise to correct mistakes regarding the spelling of their names and bio-data.
However, those who have misplaced their Voters ID’s will have to wait for another date to have them replaced by the EC.
Principal Public Relations Officer of the Electoral Commission Sylvia Annor in an interview with XYZ News said it is very essential for everybody who registered to check his or her details before the December polls.
“The most important is to avail ourselves and check our names and help the EC expunge names of unqualified persons and those of the death from the register”.
