The Ivorian side of the Elubo border is still closed two days after assurances of its re-opening for usual border business.
A Chief Collector of the Ghana Revenue Authority, Samuel Boamah, is suggesting further deliberation between the two countries on the issue.
Meanwhile, an International Relations Expert, Dr Yao Gebeh also says, it is important for President Mahama and the President of Cote D' Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara to meet and discuss the common vision and dreams for the two countries.
He said the recent happenings which resulted in the closure of the countries borders is unfortunate and suggested that President Mahama work to extend the democratic peace Ghana is enjoying to other neighbouring countries.
