Politicians, Public Servants and Analysts continue to congratulate Former President Rawlings and the NPP Flagbearer Nana Akuffo-Addo for the meeting they had to discuss the way forward in Ghana's political history.
The Chairman of the Railway Governing Board, Dan Markin says it is another wonderful event in the nation's history.
On whether President Rawlings may campaign for the NDC and the effect of the emergence of the NDP on the electoral fortunes of the ruling party, Mr Markin predicts that with time the NDP may negotiate an alliance with the NDC.
Meanwhile, the National Organizer of the People's National Convention, PNC, Emmanuel Wilson has described the meeting between former President Rawlings and the flagbearer of the NPP Nana Akuffo-Addo as an attestation of the country's maturing democracy.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr Wilson said the interaction between the two should be a wake up call to politicians who are bent on causing mayhem due to their political differences.
A member of the Communication Team of the NDC Peter Otukonor also hailed the meeting. He however thinks Nana Addo has a different motive for the visit.
