The National President of the Contractors and Builders Association of Ghana, Martin Nnuro has appealed to government and other stakeholders in the industry to pay them promptly for projects executed.
He said delays in releasing payments to members have negatively affected their operations.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr Nnuro indicated that the industry did not fare very well in 2013 due to the delay in payments among others.
Mr Nnuro asked government to settle its debts to ensure that members of the Association face challenges squarely.
He also called on government to engage them constantly to avert some of the problems being encountered.
