Former President John Agyekum Kufuor will be addressing a summit on climate change in Abu Dhabi today.
As the United Nations special envoy on climate change, he will be meeting other past world leaders, including former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair to brainstorm on the topical issue of climate change.
As a world community, participants at the summit are expected to map out strategies that might help mitigate the rising temperature that is causing havoc and destruction all over the world.
Official Spokesperson for former President Kufuor, Frank Agyekum in a Citi News interview disclosed that former President Kufuor will be away for one week.
According to him, from Abu Dhabi, former President Kufuor will lead a high powered African Union delegation to observe the South African elections scheduled for May 7, 2014.
