The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, GPHA, is to build a new Port to adequately take care of the increasing cargo and render efficient maritime services to importers, exporters and passengers.
The Port which the site is yet to be announced will further strengthen Ghana�s position in the maritime industry, address issues of congestion, and ensure adequate use of the country's sea resources.
The Marketing and Public Relations Manager of the GPHA, Paul Ansah Asare, announced this at a Port stakeholders seminar organised by the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority, GRA, in Tema.
