Three Security personnel, Kwaku Acheampong, 49, David Ganyo, 42 and Dzameshie Jacob, 42, with the East Akyem Municipal Assembly have been arrested by the Kibi Police to assist investigations into a theft recorded last Saturday at the Administrative and Budget offices of the East Akyem Municipal Assembly in the Eastern region in which desktop computers and its accessories were stolen.
The budget officer at the Assembly reported to the Police when he detected the theft last Saturday and the police proceeded to the scene to take inventories leading to the arrest of both day and night security men at the Assembly to assist police investigations.
According to the Kyebi Divisional Police Crime Officer, DSP Emmanuel Issaka, the robbers broke into the two offices through the Window.
"We got the information and we went there and it is confirmed that two desktops computers and accessories have been taken away."
The Kyebi Divisional Police Crime Officer, DSP Emmanuel Issaka, said, his outfit is currently investigating the matter.
