A Human Rights Court has ordered the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) to reinstate the sacked Director of the Pharmacy, Mrs Elizabeth Bruce.
The decision of the court follows the dismissal of Mrs. Bruce and four others by authorities of KBTH for allegedly misappropriating over GH¢900,000.
Lawyers of Elizabeth Bruce subsequently dragged the management of the hospital to the Human Rights Court for contempt after she was sacked.
In her statement of claim, Mrs Bruce said her dismissal was unlawful because the Human Rights Court was yet to determine a pending suit she had filed against the hospital after she was interdicted in a forensic audit report.
However, in a ruling Thursday, the court ordered that the hospital ensures that Madam Bruce resumes her position.
