The Ghana Standards Authority has assured Ghanaians that fruits and vegetables in the country are safe for consumption.
This follows the ban on the exportation of Ghana vegetable to EU markets, due to exporters� inability to meet international standards.
At a public lecture in Accra, the Authority expressed concern about pesticide residues found in food tested by the GSA but said there is no cause for alarm.
