NPP’s Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has commiserated with families who have lost loved ones in the Kintampo-Tamale accident which occurred on Wednesday evening.
He has prayed for the speedy recovery of the miraculous survivors.
Over 60 persons were feared dead while scores were injured in the crash involving a Metro Mass Transit bus and a cargo truck carrying tomatoes.
The NPP’s flagbearer on social media expressed his deepest condolence to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident.
“My condolences to the families who lost loved ones in yesterday’s gruesome accident on the Kintampo-Tamale highway.”
“I pray for a speedy recovery for the injured,” he added.
Reports say the Kumasi bound Metro Mass Transit (MMT) bus collided head on with the truck believed to be traveling from Burkina Faso.
