The 13 accused persons belonging to the Delta Force who escaped from a Kumasi Circuit Court, Thursday have reported themselves to the Police.
According to a release from the Ashanti Regional Police Command, they are currently in police custody.
The Ashanti Regional Police Command issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the thirteen (13) accused persons who escaped after Pro-NPP vigilante group, Delta Force stormed the court.
The presiding judge, Her Worship Mary Senkyere on Thursday had ruled that the 13 be remanded to reappear before the court on the 20th of April, 2017 after charges of conspiracy to assault a public officer and causing unlawful damage.
However, other members upon hearing the ruling disagreed, stormed the court; leading to their (accused persons) escape.
The members were arraigned before the court following their arrest after the Delta Force raid the office of the newly-elected Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator.

Please This Delta force members think that they are the only group who supported the NPP to come to power or what. The law must deal with them to serve as deterrent to the society. We all supported the NPP to come to power and so they should not think that they are the only people who voted for Nana. Am a strong NPP supported but I don't support what they did
this ***barred word*** by members of the delta force must stop. some of us who have supported nana since 1998 are not comfortable with what is happening. what these guys are doing are criminal and the law must be made to work.
