Management of GN Bank has denied the contents of a report that customers of the financial institution in Sunyani are angry.
“The news item alleges that one Mr. Kuwodor Lucky Ben, a customer of GN Bank Sunyani Annex branch, had wanted to withdraw GH¢ 850.00 but the bank was unable to meet his withdrawal, prompting agitation from the customer”, the GN rejoinder recalled.
However, the bank states that “It’s true that Mr. Kuwodor Lucky Ben is a customer of GN Bank Sunyani Annex branch. On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, Mr. Kuwodor wrote a withdrawal cheque of GH¢ 850.00. Upon checks from his account details, we notified Mr. Kuwodor that he would not be able to withdraw the GH¢ 850.00 because his balance was GH¢ 811.11, an amount less than what he had requested. He initially doubted the figures but after taking him through the system, Mr. Kuwodor was satisfied with the manager’s explanation. He then issued a new withdrawal cheque of GH¢ 800.00 for which he was paid same day.
We would like to place on record that no media person contacted the Sunyani Annex branch manager, Mr. Peter Puni, or the Brong Ahafo Manager of GN Bank, Mr Azaria Kuupiel, for clarification.”
“GN Bank assured Ghanaians that their doors are always opened to customers and the general public for any discussions relating to customer satisfaction adding that their General Manager, Marketing, Sales & Customer Service, Mr. Allen Quayecan, is available for explanations,” according to a statement signed by Frank Owusu – Ofori

In Navrongo, Paga and Bolga branches, salary earners couldn't withdraw more than 200 cedis of their salary. Is this fair? Why should customers suffer for choosing GN as their mother bank? Even they are not paying investments that matured 4months ago under their gold coast fund management. They have really disappointed us, if they know they can't continue to render service to customers, they should humbly let BoG start the liquidation process and spare us these lies!

This is a big lie. Yesterday I at the Sunyani Annex to take just 100 Ghana CEDI's and the lady told me they cannot get me any amount I asked for. I will put the squarely on Government. It is clear this Government is cheating Ghanaians to enrinch themselves. Look at DKM issues in Sunyani at the end of the struggle Government appointters have grasp all the assets of DKM.BoG is collaborating with NPP to close down banks and collect people's money for your campaign. It's a big lie. Anything time you go to any Gn bank branch to redraw money, they will either tell you they don't have funds or will restrict the funds you will have to redraw... The tema com 1 branch and dzemeni branch... I wanted to redraw and they told me they can only give me 100 cedis
