The Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Kweku Baako Jnr has asked state authorities to put the Asomdwee Park in shape.
The state of the 'Asomdwe Park' is nothing to write home about as it is being consumed by weeds and waste.
Maintenance of 'Asomdwe Park', the resting place of late President Professor John Evans Atta Mills who died 7 years ago seems to be a major challenge and this has become a worry to the family and some Ghanaians.
Reports emerged that the family has threatened to exhume the body of the late former President for reburial if the state refuse to honour the upkeep of the 'Asomdwe Park'.
However, Kweku Baako feels the family should allow him to rest in peace and rather urged the state to fix it.
"We should allow him to rest but we should also fix that place. While we are celebrating his life, going forward we should do certain things right so that we will not be talking about the same thing again during the eight anniversary," he said on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo'.
