Former Member of Parliament(MP) for Gomao Central Consituency, Rachel Appoh has donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to widows, widowers, aged and orphans at Gomoa Mangoase in her constituency over the weekend.
In addition, she did a general health screening and breast cancer screening for all the less privileged and women at Gomoa Mangoase.
In support of the screening, Doctors from Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Winneba Hospital, Top Herbal Clinic, Endpoint Homeopathic Clinic and Cape Coast Hospital were there to add a touch.
Items donated included: Cutlasses and Willington boots for farmers, clothes for women, rubber buckets and sewing machines for young widows to learn a vocation.
In all there were about 1500 beneficiaries.
This was part of activities that climaxed her 10th anniversay celebration in politics.
