The Ghana Highway Authority Saturday announced that it has temporarily opened the South-bound lane of the Peduase to Ayi Mensah section of the Aburi Road to vehicular traffic from Saturday, December, 28.
A statement issued by the Public Relations outfit, and copied to the Ghana News Agency, in Accra, however, urged motorists to drive with caution and respect road regulations.
The Road was closed in October to allow for repair works on the failing slopes, which were causing rock falls.
As an alternative, motorists use the Dome-Kitase-Berekusu road.
"While we want to assure the public that efforts are underway to ensure that repair works begin soon on the Slopes, motorists are entreated to drive with caution and respect road regulations," the statement said.
The road will remain open to 30th January 2020.
