The Proprietor of Bright Senior High School at Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region is in the grips of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI)
Officials of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) supervising the ongoing WASSCE examination were attacked by students of the school over strict invigilation.
A journalist working with the Daily Graphic was also beaten by the students during the melee; his phone and bag collected.
According to reports the headmaster, Mr Bright Amponsah instigated the students; a claim he has denied.
Subsequently, Mr Amponsah called a press conference on Friday to tell his side of the story when he was arrested according to a report filed by Peace FM's Eastern Regional correspondent, George Padmore aka Borborbor.
