Sunday night's address [August 16, 2020] will be the president's 15th update to the nation since the first case of the disease was recorded in March this year.
The address will be broadcast live on television at 8 pm.
The public expects to hear from the president on whether or not the borders will be opened or will continue to be closed.
Again, whether schools will be opened for other students as well as a further easing of restrictions on public gatherings are some of the issues the public will like to hear the president talk about.

Active COVID-19 cases in Ghana as of Sunday morning [August 16, 2020] was 1832, which indicated a gradual decline in the cases in the country.
A total of 42,210 cases have since been recorded in Ghana since the first case was recorded on March 12, 2020 with total recoveries of 40,147.
231 people have unfortunately died from the disease according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
