The Management of Hardford Motors, one of the leading Auto Servicing companies based in Accra on Wednesday made donations to the National Chief Imam, His Eminence Dr Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu to mark the Islamic Eid-Ul-Fitr celebrations.
The donation was done on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer of Hardford Motors, Mr. Yasser Alia.
The Hardford Motors delegation was led by Mr. Samuel Asante Mensah, Personal Aide to the CEO, Mr. Yasser Alia, Deputy Director of Hardford Motors, Mr. Michael Brown, and the Media Relations Manager for Hardford Motors, Mr William Nana Yaw Beeko.
As Muslims worldwide end the month of Ramadan fasting and prayers, the team visited the residence of the Chief Imam at Fadama, in the Greater Accra Region to hand over the items.
The donated items included 17 bags of Rice; 4 Boxes of Large-size Frytol Oil; 10 Packs of CAN Malt Drinks; 20 Packs of Cocktail drinks; 10 Boxes of Fruitelli Juice; 2 Cartons of Nestle Milo; 4 Packs of Tissues; 20 Packs of Bottle Water; 2 Boxes of Liquid Soap; 3 Cartons of Sugar; 2 Boxes of Mackerel Fish and 10 Cartons of Milk.
In addition to the items, the team also presented a cash amount of GHC1,000 (One Thousand Ghana Cedis) to the Chief Imam.
According to Mr Samuel Asante Mensah, the donation was part of the Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR Projects) of Hardford Motors.
He said the gesture was also meant to demonstrate a special love to Muslims after a month-long period of Ramadan fasting and for praying for the development and peace of Mother Ghana.
“We, at Hardford Motors, are glad to join this year’s celebrations in the spirit of Ramadan and Eid-ul Fitr. Indeed this is our contribution to the Chief Imam on this special season of Eid-Ul-Fitr.
…We also support and commend the Chief Imam for his remarkable contributions to consolidating Ghana’s peace since everyone sees and recognizes him as our Model of Peace,” Mr Asante Mensah stated.
He further urged all Muslims across the country to celebrate the season in moderation because of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
“As we celebrate the Eid-Ul-Fitr, we would like to appeal to all Muslims to observe all COVID-19 Safety Protocols so that we can all stay safe and healthy and avoid any further spread of the disease,” he added.
Touching on the services rendered by Hardford Motors, Mr Asante Mensah stated that Hardford Auto Services offers quality servicing and replacement of car parts.
“At Hardford Motors, the safety of our customers remains the top priority of the company so we offer nothing but the best of auto servicing. Our Office located at Dzorwulu here in Accra is always open for quality car servicing at very moderate charges,” Mr Asante Mensah revealed.
Expressing appreciation to the Hardford Motors team, His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Osman Sharubutu offered prayers for the staff of the company and he asked Allah to bless their business and grant them their heart desires.
“I pray that May Allah helps you. Whatever you desire and whatever you aspire and visualize, in the future may it come into fruition,” the Chief Imam prayed.
On his part, Mr Michael Brown offered some auto-check advice to motorists and the general public
“We call on the general public and all motorists to come for walk-in services and periodic checks on their cars because safety on the road is the most important thing when you are driving. Once again, we wish all Muslims a happy Eid-Ul-Ftr and we thank the National Chief Imam for hosting Hardford Motors.”
