Hon. Duker Writes,
Just a day after commissioning an ultra-modern 6-Unit Classroom Block for the good people of Nsuaem, on Saturday, November 27, 2021:
1. Commissioned a 20-seater WC toilet with 8 bathroom facilities for the good people of Tarkwa Na Aboso in my constituency which I started in less than a year.
At a gathering of Chiefs and the good people of Tarkwa Na Aboso, I reiterated my commitment to the development of Tarkwa-Nsuaem.
The Assembly Member and Opinion leaders in their speech commended me and the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Benjamin Kessie for such a timely intervention and completing the facility in time. They assured to maintain it properly.
2. Later in the day, I offered interest-free loans worth Two-Hundred and Five Thousand Ghana Cedis ( GHc 205, 000 ) to some 405 women selected across the Constituency to support their Businesses and other Entrepreneurship drives at a brief ceremony held at Old Municipal Assembly Hall.
This donation is a second phase from an earlier, made on August 13, 2021, where I presented same facility worth GHc 100,000 to 200 women.
I admonished the beneficiaries to engage in legitimate and sustainable businesses in order to grow their capital and wished a flourishing venture.
3. Finally, I donated an industrial sewing machine to a young talented young lady who needed support to start her fashion and design business. This gesture is a response to a plea made by the young lady through a Facebook Post. I wish her well.
I, together with government will continue to provide the needed infrastructural development Tarkwa-Nsuaem deserves while delivering on social interventions as well.
Together we make Tarkwa-Nsuaem great.
