The Communication Officer at Chirano Gold Mines, Kwabena Owusu-Ampratwum should apologize to the victims and Ghanaians, what is he talking about? That "the goods were on their way; it didn’t get to the site"?. Wait a minute, it is because of their business that is why the explosives were being transported, if the mine was not there no explosion will have happened. They bear responsibility!!! The Mining company from Canada and Maxam are to compensate the people and re-build the community, AND NOT THE GOVERNMENT USING TAX PAYER MONEY, you remember BP oil spill in US, who paid for it? BP, they paid billions of dollars not the government. Why should those Western companies pocket their profit and make poor African tax payers pay the cost of the mess these companies create!!!
