Earlier today, I was honoured to receive an award on behalf of the Ga West Municipal Assembly as the second (2nd) best performing MMDA in the 2020 Local Government Service Performance Contract Assessment Awards Ceremony which was held at AH Hotel. Ga West Municipal Assembly placed 2nd in the nation and 1st in the Greater Accra Region.

I received a plague of recognition for exhibiting exceptional leadership which enabled the Assembly to place second in the 2020 LGS Performance Contract Assessment.

This height was achieved through collective efforts from Management, Assembly Members, staff and all stakeholders towards achieving key performance indicators in the 2020 performance contract. The assembly also adopted principles and best practices through innovation and creativity in the discharge of our mandate which set us apart from other MMDA’s.

Ga West Municipal Assembly will continue to demonstrate tenacious commitment towards ensuring that management and staff of the assembly dedicate their efforts towards effective management of resources to improve sustainable local development.
