Public Relations Officer, Francis Opoku Amoah has demystified notions about the use of tramadol as an illegal substance.
According to him, tramadol is not an illegal substance, however it is not advisable for people to abuse it.
He made this known in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo".
Mr. Opoku Amoah stated emphatically that "tramadol is not illegal. It is a legal drug that can help someone who is scheduled for surgery as well as it is a pain reliever".
Cautioning against the overdose of it, he stressed "a person will suffer the consequences if he or she takes an overdose of it".
