Minister of Health, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye has advised the youth to develop skills instead of idly looking for job opportunities.
The Health Minister, speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' show, noted that though it is important for one to seek white-collar job, it is far better when the person has a skill.
He commended Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), for his vision and policy to train the youth to acquire technical and vocational skills and asked the youth to take advantage of technical and vocational education.
"Get a skill. If you have a skill, the world is a better place," he said, stressing, "you don't have to be accustomed to idleness".
He also urged the youth to love what they do saying, "you have to love what you do. That's the bottomline, finished. Whatever you do, if you love it, it will take you far...Any job you love, it will take you far".
