The clergy, evangelists and all those who have trained in bible studies, have been urged not to rest on their oars, but make efforts to bring positive change in the lives of people around them.
Reverend Howard Gard, a missionary of the "I AM" Interdenominational Bible College in the United States, said by their training they should be equipped to go beyond the 'Jordan' to win not only souls for Christ, but ensure that those converted remained as God's people at all times.
Rev. Gard said this when he delivered a sermon on Saturday, at the graduation of 12 students who completed a 18 months diploma course in Bible Studies, at the Kasoa branch of the 'I AM Interdenominational Bible College at Kasoa.
He charged the graduating student to resist any temptation that would make them retreat or bring them to shame, adding, "You should arise and shine, if you retreat you grief the Holy Spirit".
