The Ghana Evangelical Society (GES), on Friday launched a five-day event to celebrate the contribution of its Founder, the Reverend Enoch Immanuel Agbozo, to the revival of Christendom in the country.
The celebration, which begins from November 18, involves holding of talk shows on issues concerning Christendom, church services, prayer and anointing sessions to revive the Lord's spirit in His people.
As part of the celebration, a 25-minute documentary cataloguing the travels of the founder in efforts to revive Christendom as well as encourage others to work for God was also launched to tell his story.
Reverend Agbozo, 76, found the GES in 1973.
Launching the event in Accra, Mr Yoofi Grant, Executive Director of Business Development at Databank Ghana Limited, said people should take inspiration from all things that happened to them.
Mr Grant said people should not rush to get things done no matter the consequences adding that the future was unknown and that whatever happened was planned and destined.
He encouraged people to be content with what they had to enable them to lead a life that would be clean before God.
Lieutenant Colonel Nick Sowatey, an Associate Member of the GES, called for recognition and appreciation of efforts of people who had brought change to mankind.
He said the time had come for all to take the bull by the horn and work to realise their full potential in life.
Apart from the 10 branches of GES in Ghana and one in London, Reverend Agbozo also serves as a visiting pastor preaching in many churches in Ghana and abroad.
