Deacon Bernard Dake, a member of the Planning Committee of the 40th Anniversary celebration of the Kwashieman Branch of The Lord's Pentecostal Church International, has called on Ghanaians to bury their differences and work together as a team to ensure national development.
He said for every nation to be developed, there was the need for the citizens to foster unity.
Deacon Dake said this at the end of a float to commemorate the 40th anniversary celebration of the church at Kwashieman in Accra on Saturday.
The celebration, which would be climaxed with a Thanksgiving Service on November 29, is under the theme "Serving God in our Generation".
Deacon Dake said the church started with only 10 members and now had over 800 worshippers. It has put up a school, a healing centre and had provided potable water to some communities.
