A 23-year-old mother who gave birth to triplets has appealed for help from benevolent organisations and individuals to enable her to cater for her children.
Ms Mabel Mensah, who already has two children, delivered the triplets on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.
In an interview with the Daily Graphic, Ms Mensah, who resides in Darkuman Atico, said she faced tough times ahead since she did not have a stable income, indicating that the father of her children was also not in a regular employment and did not earn enough to support the family.
Asked whether she had been going for antenatal visits, she said she could not make it due to lack of money, adding that her main worry was looking after the babies since she had no means to fend for them.
“I need the grace of God and well wishers to give life to these children. We are not well off and going by the demands it will be very difficult,” she added.
Those willing to help can contact the Daily Graphic or the family on 0266840184.
