Reverend Richmond Owusu-Frimpong, Founder of 21st Century Revival Ministry, has observed that the major problem facing Christians of the 21st century was the lack of proper message of God which would teach their souls useful and interesting things.
Rev Owusu-Frimpong who made the observation at the launch of his fifth book at Teshie in Accra entitled: ‘Transforming the Church into a Learning Church,’ said the problem became compounded when individual Christians did not even have the time to read the Bible, or read any book to better their understanding of the things of God.’
His first four books are Accept yourself you are child of God; Activating the Mental Faculty for your Blessing; Hidden Treasures-Wisdom for Daily Living; and Problems facing the 21st century Youth-A Possible Solution.
Rev Owusu-Frimpong who is also the Leader and Founder of Personality Development Movement, a political movement, regretted that people were now more uninformed than any other age, because ‘they don’t want to read, they don’t have time to sit down and engage in active learning.’
The Church, he said, was now powerless because its sons and daughters had blatantly refused to see the Bible as the manual for their lives.
Rev Owusu-Frimpong said the 40-page book ‘is carefully pinned together to address the needs of the 21st century Christian to engage in spontaneous reading which will engender knowledge and intelligence.’
