Some business owners operating around the Nima residence of President-elect, Nana Akufo-Addo, are uncertain about their continuous stay in the area.
They fear they may be asked to relocate as the area becomes a security zone. Already, taxi drivers operating in front of Nana Addo’s house have been moved out.
The operators include Grocery retailers, barbering shops, carpenters, dressmakers, chop bar owners and hairdressers among others.
Some of the traders told Starr News they were advised to vote against Nana to secure their continuous stay but they defied it. They are hopeful of some compensation or relocation should the State decide to move them.
No official communication has been disseminated to the traders yet but they are hopeful their stay will not be affected.
