According to him, there are too many chieftency cases in the region which is retarding development.

According to him, though the new region has nineteen 19 paramoncies, only 6 attend regional house of chiefs meeting saying this does not augur well for faster development of the region and so called on chiefs of the disputed areas to quickly solve their differences so that it would allow them attend meetings and contribute to discussion of the house for faster development of their respective areas in the region

Obrempong Kru Takyi II further entreated people of the to region to adhere to covid-19 safety protocols to avoid contracting the virus especially during this era when all schools from Kingdargarten to university are scheduled to re-open after long break.

He used the occasion to Commission an ultra modern Traditional Council at Abeasi.
