The aspiring National Chairman hopeful and current National Treasurer of the NPP, Mr. Kwabena Abankwa Yeboah has extended his fraternal greetings to Ghanaian Moslems on the occasion of their Eid-il-fitr festival.

Speaking to this reporter, Mr Abankwah-Yeboah said some Moslem members of the party sometime past visited him in his office to wish him well and even prayed for him on his bid to contest the chairmanship position of the party , he thanked them for their support and prayers. The aspiring chairman used the occasion to advise our Moslem brothers to be circumspect and modest in celebrating the festival especially coming from a time of prayers and fasting.

He told them that Prophet Mohammed was a man of peace and love so they must also portray same virtues. He called for Allah’s blessings and protection. Touching on the on-going Constituency elections, Mr Abankwa wished all contestants well and called on delegates to select dedicated and loyal officers for the party to make the 2024 elections a mere formality. He entreated delegates to cool down and go about the voting in a very serene order to avoid any confusion .

The current treasurer intimated that if all party executives and members team up and work together , there’s no way the 2024 elections cannot be over come .

He wished all winners and vanquished contestants good luck and congratulated all of them for putting themselves up for the sake of their love for the party.

He urged them to make their experience and resources available to be able to annex 2024 which is the party’s target. And if this is achieved, there and then all of the party would have scored the most important goal .

The treasurer said the party has an enviable record that can give a sure bet for victory in 2024 so it is the duty of all party members to work hard for the victory we all yearn for.
