Vodafone Gets 12 Nominations For Ghana Telecom Awards

Telecommunication operator, Vodafone Ghana has been nominated for 12 awards in the 4th Ghana Telecom Awards (GTA) 2014, organised by the Mobile World Magazine.

Vodafone earned nominations for the Best Customer Care Company, Best Use of Social Media, Best Telecom Brand, Telecom Business Service, Mobile Broadband Internet Service, Mobile Operator, CSR Company, Telecom Wholesale Provider, Mobile Broadband Service and Mobile Innovative Product of the year.

The company’s innovative product ‘Red’ was also nominated among others in the Marketing Campaign of the Year category, while the telecommunications giant Chief Executive Officer, Haris Broumidis was shortlisted for the CEO of the Year.

These nominations serve as recognition for the hard work by Vodafone particularly in satisfying customers given how competitive the Ghanaian telecom industry has become over the past few years.

As has always been the case, Vodafone strives toward excellence on all fronts offering its customers superb value in products and services as well as impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The telecoms giant’s hunger for innovations has led to a number ‘firsts’ in the industry which has won them several awards including the ‘Marketing Oriented Company of the Year at the 2013 Mobile Telecom Awards.

The Ghana Telecom Awards is designed to celebrate the continued growth and success of the telecom marketplace and focus on the exceptional and innovative performers within the industry. The winners will be announced on 31st May, 2014, at a ceremony at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra.
