Uncertified results emanating from the National Delegates Congress of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) indicates that Koku Anyidoho is on the way to becoming the new Deputy General Secretary of the party.
According to Peace Fm’s Agya Kwabena, provisional results indicates the former Communications Director at the Presidency during the administration of the then President John Evans Atta Mills, polled 2,338 votes out of the total number of valid votes cast.
Mr. George Lawson, the incumbent, who was seeking re-election, retained his seat with 1,390 votes, beating former Member of Parliament for Adenta in the Greater Accra region Kojo Adu Asare.
The other three candidates - J.R.D Cobbinah, Wisdom Kwame Amaglo, Evans Amoo - in the race performed poorly.
