Henry Nana Boakye has secured a safe seat at the top of the national elections of the New Patriotic Party, although not without a fierce and close contest with his contender.
The outgone National Youth Organizer of the party, Nana Boakye, a.k.a "Nana B", won the elections with a very slim margin as Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover put up a fierce challenge in a bid to cause an upset in the battle over the National Organizer position.
As Titus-Glover garnered 2274 votes, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B) polled 2870 votes. The other candidates; Bright Essilfie Kumi had 137 votes, Seth Adu-Adjei 25 votes, Eric Amoako Twum 185votes and Nana Owusu Fordjour 44 votes.
