The Member of Parliament for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa in the Central region, Hon. P.C. Ofori was given a cold reception by his colleagues from the minority side, when he entered the chamber to perform his role as a legislature.
After accusing some of his colleagues of taking bribes to approve the much talked about Vodafone deal, PC left the country for UK, which he described on a radio station in Takoradi as a parliamentary trip. P.C. Appiah Ofori, who was dressed in a two piece black suit with white stripes, entered the house unnoticed and calmly sat on his chair without a word from his colleagues.
He kept looking through the order paper for the days proceedings, after which he looked into the galleries around him, without his usual tete a tete with members. The Mpraeso MP, Hon. Seth Acheampong, who sat next Hon. P.C, behaved like he had seen a stranger. The Chronicle can confirm that they both did not exchange a word as they used to do before P.Cs recent outburst. The members of the majority instead teased him, saying if he has been neglected by the majority, he should come and join them.
