The National Executive Committee of New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Thursday August 27th, announced the death of Alhaji Abdul Rahman Musah, Second National Vice Chairman, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. It has therefore directed all party flags to fly at half mast on Friday August 28, 2009 in memory of the deceased.
A statement issued in Accra and signed by Mr. Curtis Perry K. Okudzeto, Deputy Director of Communications, said in accordance with Muslim tradition, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday August 28 2009, at the deceased’s residence at New Achimota followed by burial at the Muslim Cemetery at East Legon, Accra.
The late Alhaji Musah, was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Wilhelm Limited, an Accra-based construction firm.
He left behind a wife and six children.
