The NDC constituency executives of Ablekuma North have cancelled the vetting of its parliamentary aspirants scheduled for today Wednesday September 28.
The cancellation was due to the lateness on the part of the two aspirants, one of whom is Mohammed Mubarak popularly known as Ras Mubarak.
In view of this he has apologised to the constituency executives and the entire NDC family. Below is the statement of apology.
SUBJECT: APOLOGY TO REGIONAL, CONSTITUENCY AND ENTIRE NDC FAMILY:
I wish to extend my sincerest apology to the Rt. Hon. Regional Minister, NDC Regional Secretary, the entire Regional and Constituency Executives and my supporters for the role I played in the cancellation of today’s vetting.
I and my opponent were late for the vetting, an incident I find most regrettable.
The incident is most regrettable and I want to offer my heartfelt apologies to the entire NDC family and to assure the party that it would not be repeated.
I feel extremely embarrassed by the inconvenience my lateness may have caused the executives, the party and my supporters.
I am deeply sorry.
