Reports reaching peacefmonline.com say beleaguered National Democratic Congress (NDC) financier, Alfred Agbesi Woyome, on Monday afternoon appeared before the Economic and Organised Crimes Office (EOCO) as the national investigative machinery seeks to uncover those culpable of any crime committed in the payment of some GhC 51 million judgment debt awarded him by the Government of Ghana.
The NDC financier, who was invited by EOCO, gave evidence on the controversial debt payment made to him by the state of what has become known as the "Woyomegate".
Mr. Woyome is the second to appear before the agency after his spokesperson Akyena Brentuo who petitioned EOCO.
